For instance, a waterfront property will usually have higher occupancy rate, and higher price could lead to lower occupancy rate. However, this data is an average on what we are seeing across a few cottages. Another thing to note is March to June 2021 had a lot of lockdown restrictions do to severe case numbers of Covid.

Now to the reason why you’re reading this- 2022 occupancy rates. There are a few factors to consider in the new year that could affect Short-term rentals in Bruce Peninsula and all of Ontario.

We expect most of the increases in the spring months, while growth during the fall and winter months will remain slow and this is mostly because amenities in Bruce Peninsula is closed after mid-October.
